Self Care Isn't Selfish - It's A Priority!
Awareness and Donations
We recently experienced a tragic loss to the A Perfect 10 family. My neice Kayla passed away due to an overdose. I am deeply saddened that this happened, and I wish that I could have done more. A Perfect 10 would like to spread awareness about addiction, as well as help other families in need by making donations to Syracuse Behavioral Healthcare. I will admit that we tiptoed around this situation, but we now know that it needs to be confronted head on. Addiction doesn't just affect the person, but families and friends as well. A Perfect 10 is aware that rehab can be expensive, and sometimes, people do not seek help because of the cost. If we are able to save just one life from an overdose, then we know that Kayla did not die in vain.
If you know someone who is struggling with addiction, please do not ignore them. It will not go away on its own. I wish we had known how bad it was or could get. That's why it is so important for us to spread awareness and be a support system to other families affected by the loss of an overdose. If you would like to contribute to our awareness and donation campain click the link below. I will be handing in all donations at the beginning of each month.
